where is the the option to print by practitioner for a certain period of time, like a 2 week period?
When you click on the Dollar Bill on the left side of your page, it will take you to a New Billing Activity Page. At the very top right of that page, there is a sentence that says "Looking for the Legacy Finance Report". If you click on that, you will find what you are looking for.
I don't invoice as I'm strictly pay as you go, and payment is due at the time of the service. I used to just be able to say what they paid on my SOAP note, and don't find that any longer. Do I have to create an invoice & then pay it each time now?
What happens when we don't want this feature?
I'm so sorry. We have revised the structure of the system to align with best practices and to allow for more flexible billing and payment tracking.
Did you miss my question?
Yes. Now you create the invoice with a single click from either the note or the appointment on the calendar. Once the invoice opens, just add the service and click Save and Pay. It's a little different but in the long run it's a lot more efficient.
I'm sorry but I'm not seeing what I'm looking for, is there no way to be able to pull up the individual practitioners biweekly/weekly income, like before. you told me to look in the legacy finance report but nothing is coming up. Am i missing something or have you taken that out?
Laura, this specific report is not available at the moment. We expect to have it released within a week.
thank you we need this type of report to pay our RMTs
We agree Laura. We'll have it for you soon, thanks for your patience!
When I print it comes out blank, when I download the receipts my practitioner number disappears. To have to create an invoice, download it, print, then add my number has created so much work. This has complicated things horribly for me. Printing from a simple soap note was so convenient. All I want is a simple receipt.
Kelsey, the blank receipt issue is related to Google Chrome version 65.x. Can you please update to Google Chrome 66.x?
Yes, those are too many steps. If you use the calendar, creating an invoice from the appointment (which pre-fills the entire invoice) is only 1 click away. Please see the 8:50 point in the video on this page for a demo of it.
Yes, you can create an invoice from the appointments, but it clearly states on the invoice it is unpaid. I simply need a receipt with the date, time, amount and practitioner number. I do all my receipts a week in advance to save time.....but the invoices are unusable and I cannot add payment methods in advance as I do not know how my clients will pay.....I do not have the time to print paid invoices each time. Can I no longer create receipts in advance? Again, invoices clearly state unpaid. This has create a huuuuuuuuge time concern for my business.
Hi Kelsey, sorry for the trouble. We do understand the concern for this use case. A temporary workaround would be to:
We'll get a more appropriate solution available as soon as possible.
I don't like this new version invoice.
In the video it shows the invoice has the patient's address but when I go and create an invoice then try to print or download, there is no address showing under the patient's name. Is this something on my end?
Diana, we revised the display of the invoice since the video was recorded. The patient's address is no longer part of the receipt.
Is there a chance that there will be an option of having the patient's address displayed again? Also, would it be possible to state "future appointments" at the bottom so that the patient knows what the dates are for?
Thank you for your reply!
Diana, upcoming appointments do display, simply click "Upcoming Appointments: On" on the top left corner of the print receipt page. At this point, we don't have any design changes planned to include the patient address, but I'll suggest this back to our product team.
I need to be able to print a full invoice for up to a year's worth of appointments for clients which would include all pertinent information regarding clinic/practitioner name, address and registration number. I used to be able to do this before the system changed and now am only able to do it prior to the system change in the legacy report. This does not apply to any transactions since May however. Is there an option to do this that I am not seeing? I have clients who would like their invoice and I haven't been able to supply it to them.
Natasha, there is a financial summary which you can view/print a date range of invoices and transactions. But that is only a summary. Currently, there isn't the ability to print full details of invoices within a date range, but I'll pass this suggestion onto the product team. It should be added.
