Creating an invoice

There are 4 ways to create an invoice. 

Method 1: Add Invoice  from the Navigation Bar 

  1. Click on the ‘+’ button in the navigation bar
  2. Click on Add Invoice
  3. Type in Patient’s name and then click on Add Invoice
  4. Type in one of the services associated to your clinic (i.e. Massage Therapy)
  5. Click on ‘+ Tx Date’ to add a treatment date, and click on the ‘+ Practitioner’ to assign a practitioner to the service
  6. Click on the Tax Field to assign a tax
  7. Click on Save 

Method 2:  Add Invoice from the Patient Profile Page 

  1. Click on the Patient’s name from the Patient Profile Page or from the search in the navigation bar
  2. Click on the Billing tab
  3. Click on Add Invoice
  4. Type in one of the services associated to your clinic (i.e. Massage Therapy)
  5. Click on ‘+ Tx Date’ to add a treatment date, and click on the ‘+ Practitioner’ to assign a practitioner to the service
  6. Click on the Tax Field to assign a tax
  7. Click on Save 

Method 3: Add Invoice from an Appointment 

  1. Click on an existing appointment from the calendar
  2. Click on Add Invoice
  3. Click on Save or if you would like to apply a payment click Pay 

Note: The  pricing details are pulled from the price of the service, at the time in which the patient booked.  If you changed your prices and need future appointments to reflect this new price, let us know. 

Method 4: Add Invoice from the Billing Activity section 

  1. Click on the Money icon (left navigation)
  2. Click Add Invoice
  3. Type in Patient’s name
  4. Click Add Invoice
  5. Type in one of the services associated to your clinic (i.e. Massage Therapy)
  6. Click on ‘+ Tx Date’ to add a treatment date, and click on the ‘+ Practitioner’ to assign a practitioner to the service
  7. Click on the Tax Field to assign a tax
  8. Click on Save

    Is there a way to have the tax pre-assigned to the service? I am a single therapist clinic so the tax applies on every treatment. Less clicks would be awesome :)

    Agreed!  We actually have auto-selecting tax coming in a future update (likely next week).  You don't have to set the tax rate, it will learn over time.
